This is by far my fave piece of artwork ever - and also the longest (other than my exam work for high school).

This was actually a test picture to see how my Fabers, WHSmith pencils and my watercolours combined and It came out beautifully.

I'm so happy with the way this came out and am planning more in the future.

The creature depicted in the picture is a custom species made by myself, they are semi-aquatic monotremes called Merlocians and inhabit deep fresh-water rivers and lakes. Their diet is omnivourous - eating both water vegetation, and fish - as well as anything else they can catch.
