Yeah, I don't get much response on Weasyl either, compared to other galleries I post. But I'm not too active myself so I really shouldn't be talking :B
I think I sort of got caught between styles here. I would've wanted to keep the detail down a bit more :p But it's hard to simplify without losing the wrong details ^^;
Hey I read your profile - I think I've heard about Synesthesia before, seems fascinating... and then it totally makes sense that your art makes me feel like I'm viewing music. I mean I feel like when I listen to instrumental music, but the input is visual instead of audial... (I can get very "swept up" by music, especially like Tangerine Dream, makes me feel like I'm somewhere else for a moment. a bit like dreaming when you know you're dreaming.)

Me either, i honestly avoid posting on here for that reason, no response, no views, no anything >w< that kinda bothers me, ya know?
as i said, i really dig the style you used. most of the time you see people drawing them in that crappy goofy but remarkably still adorable XD style used in the show. this is different, they're still definitely the characters, but they're different from the mounds and mountains of other sonic/shadow fanart.
its interesting to say the least, to experience and learn about. its difficult to describe, but the best i can say about it is its like diving into the music itself, being surrounded by the tones, but instead of seeing music, you see streams of light, bubbles, sparks, even shapes sometimes. like "Bellyfull" by boy in static. i listen to that and i see a sphere surrounded by a ribbon undulating and spiking like a visualizer, ya know?
