In a world of heroes and villains, there will always be unfortunate victims. However, Ortakwan managed to get some form of power from it, although it's not very useful for any heroic or villainy work. 

Before the incident, Orta was just a quiet, but cheery girl. But she was involved in an incident involving another dimension and mad scientists (as they're one to do at times). Said dimensional transport had sent her into a dimension of unspeakable things, pain, and misery. After creating an army for the sole purpose of getting home, she returned on her own, forever changed. She's also a little happier now... it's nice to not feel like she's dying half the time.

Due to her appearance, however, she tends to keep hidden in her boyfriend's place. However she is able to cause hallucinations and illusions. There is a limitation, though. Any illusions not pertaining to herself will cause insanity. Any that would involve hiding her appearance will, upon physical contact, cause headaches and nausea. 

Her left arm is also more like an extention of herself instead of simply being "her arm". It has its own lungs and brain, and more or less just acts in tandem with Orta. She can eat with the arm and can belch or talk through it (although she can only speak in an elderitch language with her arm. That and Greek.) 

A bit sultry, she enjoys encouraging her boyfriend to get out more and enjoy life. She also is rather pursuasive. If she really wants to do something, she will get it done. And as of now, only her boyfriend knows that she isn't dead, since her presense tends to cause mental instability to those who don't know her or understand her as well. And few know her as intimately as her boyfriend.
