What is with this background? Why am I naked at a photo shoot?

I had only recently purchased a drawing tablet, and he’s been helping me get used to it. This is the picture I made as he instructed me. I feel my skills have deprecated, but seeing as I went from a different set of medias, as well as having taken far too long a hiatus from drawing… I could make excuses, but instead, I will adapt and improvify my craft.
