In the last twenty four hours, my mom's gone into the OR for a liver transplant, come out, spent 12 hours constantly bleeding, hooked up to every machine known to man, and then gone BACK into the OR so the transplant team could find out where she was bleeding from, and gone back into the ICU when they finally fixed the bleed point.

This is AFTER her kidneys stopped working and she was on two days of dialysis pretty much non-stop.

It's been really scary, and really hectic. The hard part is only just starting.
