Drawn in June 2003. The following words were floating around in my head at the time were those from Shakespeare, when I was studying for English back in high school. Romeo and Juliet...

Tis almost morning; I would have thee gone:
And yet no further than a wanton's bird;
Who lets it hop a little from her hand,
Like a poor prisoner in his twisted gyves,
And with a silk thread plucks it back again,
So loving-jealous of his liberty.
The only difference is that this bird is tied up in more places than just her ankle. So there you go - English can be interesting!
