If they lived normal lives, they'd have the liberty to pursue even thinking about what they'd like to do.

As is, the girls, Fredek and Cameron hold jobs that are pretty low-profile and easy to bounce around in regardless of locale.

Shen can keep his Maverician nature under-wraps, like Rehgan (who thought that leaving home to stay with the group would mean not having to keep going to school).

Neil and Roland's respective abilities have kind of robbed them of jobs in the "real world" sense.
