The darkness was thick, almost tangible. The walk through the dilapidated complex felt dangerous, as each step made the unstable floor creak beneath my feet, and the mold was growing in mass. I just had to make it to the bottom floor, I thought to myself. Upon turning the corner, I was suddenly blinded by a bright light. One of the ceiling lights was hanging by is cord and rocking back and forth. "Rocking?" I thought to myself as a wave of fear washed over me "There's no wind in here." I unsheathed my rifle as continued moving forward cautiously. I could feel eyes on me, and a chill went up my spine. I wasn't alone here, but it might not be another person here with me.
