This is the last of the Four Scrumptious Cakes group from Adams Media's Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook. I tried following the directions of the cake assembly part to the best of my comprehension and the lack of thick cakes (I didn't want to make my thin cakes any thinner). There wasn't a picture of one on the web for reference, so I had to do whatever I can to try and get it right. The cake layers tasted citrus-y just like I wanted, but the filling was running (not sure if it's supposed to be like that) and that's because some unwanted help, who thinks she knows what she's doing, said it was done before I was really sure it was done. The filling tasted a bit like eggs the first time I tried it, but I didn't get any taste from it when eating the cake slice. I hope I don't get a food-borne illness in the morning.

So anyway, out of the Four Scrumptious Cakes, I would have to say that Cherry Bakewell Cake is my most favorite, with the Victoria Sponge Cake coming in second. The Custard Sponge Sandwich is in third, and the Citrus Sandwich Cake comes dead last because of how long it took me to do and I wasn't sure if I did it right.
