This was the longest and hardest dessert I've ever baked. I failed my first attempt last week as I misread the cookbook and messed up at certain parts, like not cooking the egg yolks in the cornstarch mix, thus the filling never got thicker. But I did much better in my second attempt and this was the result. I think the 9 and half inch pie pan is too big for the crust as I had to stretch it out thin to have it touch the edges. A simple 9 inch works better as its shorter and the crust can be baked thicker that way.

I used the recipe for this from Adams Media's Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook. I'll update this with a third picture being a slice tomorrow. The first slice I attempted photographing ended up falling on the side.
