One of the places found at Nelson's Dockyard.
"This two-storey brick structure was the home of the master shipwright responsible for all repairs to the ships. He reported to the Commissioner or senior naval officer and carried much responsibility in keeping the ships in good condition.
In 1778, John Baxter, a master shipwright, from Chatham, introduced Methodism to Antigua by preaching to fellow workers at the dockyard. His teachings spread rapidly throughout the island and the Caribbean. This cabin is considered to be a special place of intangible cultural heritage within Antigua and the world of Methodism."
