A revisit to the Star Sapphire Pink Deedee concept. I also used the Deedee design from the recent "Extinctioners-Styled" image.

This took me a while to finish; between commissions and being distracted with the new Soul Calibur, this was completed in small steps.

The background was improvised in Photoshop (just like the previous Lantern inspired piece "The Deleted") though I did base the upper space on a shot from the Blackest Night #0 issue.

The heart was inspired by the Ame-Comi Star Sapphire statuette (My gf got me one last Valentine's Day appropriately enough).
