I dabbled in some leather mask making and this was my first attempt.

I made the template and then cut it out from 5oz. vegetable tanned leather, shaped, and painted....all from scratch.

I don't have a name for it, but, I wanted to do a leaf/forest theme for the mask. With the addition of the iridescent paint swirls and dots ...it took on a Mardi Gras theme. :)

So here it is...my finished Leaf/Forest Mardi Gras Mask!
