This picture is a week late, but it is a drawing to commemorate my girlfriend kyselli and I's recent first anniversary. :3

It was oct.22nd a year ago when we first started dating, only 2 weeks after we met at an anime convention. We hit it off right away, starting to cuddle and hang around each other constantly. I started gaining feelings for her almost instantly, and ended up telling her I liked her only the very next day. I am not the kind of person who used to believe in love at first sight, or who would usually ask someone out before knowing them for months, if not years, but this girl was special and I knew it. So I trusted my instincts and my heart, and after a week of wooing her over the phone (lol) she ended up beginning to have feelings for me, as well. She had only recently gotten out of a bad relationship, so she was hesitant to give me a chance, but she did, and our relationship has become stronger and more beautiful than I ever thought it could.

We spent the first half of it long distance, only seeing each other twice within 3 months at first. It was hard, but we stuck to it, madly in love and wanting no other person but each other. After visiting her after 3 long months of constant texting, calling, and missing each other unbearably for a month in march/april, I believe it was, I made the decision to leave my state, my hometown, all my friends and my mother just to come live with her and her family in a tiny, rural town where I know no one and nothing about the area.

Despite all the hardships and stress we've been facing lately between family, vehicle troubles, obnoxious dogs, and having no luck on our months long ongoing job search, I still think it was the best decision I've ever made. With her here every morning when I wake up, my days are made so much brighter. With her here every night as I fall asleep, the darkness is made so much less lonely and fearful. She is my guiding star, my personal therapist, my best friend, my pet dog (lol), my little sister, and my lover all in one. Its a relationship that may confuse many, but its something I treasure over everything. She is what makes my life worth living. She is what makes me feel alive and like I am perfect the way I am. She is what makes me happy more than any person, any material item, or anything else. I look forward to spending many more happy years by her side, through thick and thin.
