This was an idea Raifuru came up with a while back. Turns out they used to watch the old Beetlejuice Cartoon Series when they were younger. I used to watch it too and absolutely loved how unreal it was and how lively the characters were. Sadly becasue I work 7 days a week, time slips away and I didn't get to drawing this until tonight after work, but man I had fun doing it. Sadly I only had enough time to to a grey scaled image of what would be the finished image as I'm already way over my curfew and need to head to bed for work in the morning. Might come back and color it later, but for now I'm just satisfied with what I've got.

This Halloween was kinda lame. No trick-or-treaters in my neighborhood so now i'm sitting on 2 bags of candy. I'll have to make time to return them when I get the chance. It's so sad that society here in the US is to bad that people are too scared to let their kids go out and have fun, or dress up like monsters or comedic stereo-types or whatever. people need to lighten up. I remember when i used to go trick-or-treating as a kid. it was a huge family event in our neighborhood. kids would flock in packs and go door to door as families would watchfully chaperone them around let them have fun. -sigh- good times... I remember our neighborhood had some amazing home-made haunted houses...

Anyway, this one took me about 4 hours to make, with a little help from google images to use a checkered background to fit the theme. Will give credit below. I love how this came out and it felt great to draw something again after so long. like a breath of fresh air. Thanks for the idea, Comrade!
