Pretty much what it says on the tin! I've always striven for a fairly realistic style, and this is an attempt to level it up more through studying and practicing fur textures. It's not perfect, but it's an improvement and worth uploading. I feel confident that I'll do even better next time!

Thanks! I notice that a lot of furry artists draw the coats of their mammalian characters very short and smooth, almost as if their patterns are just body paint. I'm trying to move away from that habit and be more conscientious of how fur ought to grow on these people. I've still got a long way to go, but I feel confident that I'll get there before too long.

Several hours, including the research. Don't know exactly, but it was longer than typical since it was largely experimental. Hopefully I'll be able to hasten the process with practice!
