A portrait of the snow leopard, Tasia Dreamweaver, in a dreamy landscape.

This one was a challenging digital painting, where I worked with a limited gamut map. I also tried to go a bit above-and-beyond with the character design, while remaining faithful to the concept. Somewhat experimental, but it was satisfying to see it come together.

    Love the setting and characterization you give her in this piece, and the use of purple and green as the focal color scheme is interesting; it definitely gives the whole piece a feeling of "not quite real" while still making it tangible enough, just like a lucid dream.

      I'm glad that the colour scheme resonates with you! In addition to the green light being surreal in itself, the light source comes from below, giving a sense of artificiality to it, as that typically doesn't occur in nature.

        Exactly what I was thinking; almost like an eerie green lantern or campfire at her feet...
