My biggest and most challenging art project of 2021: the cover of "Saida and Autumn", a macrofurry romance novel penned by Arilin — an author as talented as she is tall. This was a challenging one to do during a tough year, but I was very excited for the project. I've been a fan of Arilin's writing since my first day in the fandom, so I'm stoked to have been able to contribute to one of her larger projects. While it was initially just meant to be a cover for an ebook, I composed a spread across a front cover, spine, and back cover, so it can also become a physical print. The right portion gets cropped to be the front cover, and text will be added later, when the full story goes to publication.

The front cover features, obviously, the titular Saida the cat (or "rha", technically), Autumn the rabbit, as well as the non-titular Carolyne the fox. The back cover cameos Jen the rat and Madison the cheetah from one of Arilin's other stories, "Teacher's Pet", which takes place in the same setting. There's some crossover between the characters in the stories.
