Like I said at MFF, your dramatic lighting is such a high point of your art. It adds so much depth and personality to your pieces. Nice angle on this one, too; the fact that it's lower than I think it'd be expected to be shifts the mood of the piece a bit in a nice way.

This looks rad. Nice monocrhomatic work and your values came out ace.
The only thing is that part of the background doesn't look quite right to me. The dramatic perspective is cool, but I think a part of the wall, specifically what appears to be a door or hallway entrance (tope left) is a bit too high up away from the ground...or something.

I see what you mean. I laid out careful perspective guides when I was painting this, but I think the shadow in that doorway is giving the optical illusion of a perspective error. Either way, that's on me, and I'll have to be more careful about stuff like that in future pieces. Thanks for the critique, XP!
