Here's the final, traditionally illustrated art piece from around midterms that I had WIPs up for a little bit back. It has been finished for a while, but I just got around to photographing it late last night. Definitely a piece I am remarkably happy with; I am considering offering these as prints in the not so distant future if there is interest.

The media is black acrylic washes on 15x20 inch Strathmore 500 series illustration board. This was an incredibly time heavy project; transferring and painting the final piece alone probably took a collective 24+ hours over the course of 2 days, with the preemptive thumb nailing, planning, refining, etc of the digital version I was using for transfer and value experimenting another 20 or so.

I still feel like I can touch up and refine some areas a little bit, so I will probably do that before finalizing any printing plans or putting it up in my house. All the characters were basically made up/invented as I was making this piece, and all have their own cute personalities, save for the foreground couple, which are a self insert of me and my boyfriend ;>

Let me know what you think!
