DAY 16 OF OC-TOBER: Angel Baker (+ special guest: Lacey Bolt, owned by Simply-Jax)

Lacey: So, when are you gonna admit your feelings to Superman? I know you’re totally crushing on him.
Angel: Hey! So are you with his cyborg cat sidekick!
Lacey: Least I can admit she’s cute! You’re in s-o-o-o much denial, Ang.

Despite Angel and Lacey having a friendship for about 9 or 10 years, I never got to draw them together! Which is downright CRIMINAL.
So for Angel’s OC-tober picture, I wanted to not only draw them together, but also to display them teasing each other!

Lacey has been a great friend to Angel, and probably her longest friendship yet. Angel feels a great sense of relief to just get away from home and MASKS activities to kick back with Lacey, catch up on life, joke around, and of course, talk hours on end about comic books. Angel remains Lacey’s go-to for important comic book knowledge! And watching Lacey fixing up pretty much anything that has an engine in it is pretty radical for Angel to watch.
