Commission for raven-2007 showing off my own Breakthrough characters Tygressa and Ruskaer in a scene from their history - this is when Tyg first met Rusk. Ruskaer had nudged a Longwing in his class, which these brutes took note of, and cornered him after class for it. They forbid him to lay claw on another female Longwing. Tygressa swooped in and rested her wing across Ruskaer's back protectively, standing up against the bullies and fighting back. They then screwed off elsewhere, not wanting to fight against someone who has the guts to fight back.
