I can't exactly think of any suggestions to help make it appear more clear at the moment since its easier to offer better advice in hindsight but if you really wanna try improving the ease of reading for your comic I'd suggest researching comic book narrative flow and comic book panel flow. theres a specific art to how the panels flow in a page and its done in a way to draw the eyes of the reader in a certain way as to not get confused.
I know a lot about it but its hard to explain it without examples.
