I got to thinking about stupid headcanon stuff from A&S and one of them was the reason the mutants look so excited to help Doctor Strange make the larger weaponized mutants was so they could see friends that probably died in the line of battle again.

Sure they're bigger and more monstrous looking but that doesn't matter, they're back! They missed them so much!
