Conspicuous Web of Words by QuentixStarwing

Conspicuous Web of Words

When connections are far and few in between
With the measures that broaden one's horizons and dreams
Should they falter, sully, or dull.

Like a mirrored surface they try to explain
To show constitution through the form of an image
An explanation by a visual basis that shall cheat the test.

That which braces the nature of the forbidden
Is designed by the measurements of a wish or need
Such a station is a thing meant to behold.

What will the field be that holds the desires highly
In regard to people or solid in a farce or to a fool
Captured is the dignity of the one who does wish.

Like a path through the woods, this is by one log
Nothing but a given trip through the mind
Memories of focus behind the meaning
All they do is hide what they wish, within the realm of a narrative.

Such is a conspicuous web of words.

A small contribution to my weekly poem drop, here’s another one from yours truly, one that came to me the previous week in a form that I find to be most amusing, if not strange as it started out in triplet form, with a single quatrain and ends with a single line, hinting at the title. It was definitely a blast to write, even more when I look at it again.
