This piece was made in 2012, but it illustrates a newer character of mine that will continue to make several appearances here and in all of my galleries. This is the first piece of him that I've uploaded to Weasyl, though, so say hello to my alien, Seven!

He's the main character in a story I'm writing that I will also be uploading here in the near future. This piece was done for fun after I received my Cintiq in 2012. I wanted to make one last piece of traditional, colored art before I transitioned into digital media. And sadly, this really was the last traditional piece I've made, aside from a couple of smaller bitsy badges. :c

I'm hoping to remedy that a bit this year, as I'd like to explore both mediums again rather than focus only on one. Despite how frustrating it can be to not have the ctrl-z option, I've found my older works are some of the best examples of things I'm most proud of. And that could be because I don't have the luxuries of digital art, haha.
