So, here's the last of the six commission drawings! This guy is another of WhiteMantis' ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/whitemantis/ ) beautiful anthro mantis characters, Eien, whom she asked me to draw at a forest shrine. (I put in lots of little guys rather than one big one) The plants are these ( http://marg09.files.wordpress.com/2.....tree-kyoto.jpg ) and this ( http://www.cycadconnections.com.au/.....revoluta-2.jpg ) ... or as close as I could get to those plants; turns out it's kinda hard to draw cycads without making their leaves look more like feathers than fronds. But anyhow, this character was a pleasure to draw; I understand he was originally designed by Fydbac ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/fydbac ), another person whose character designs are always just the best. :D
