This is a fun pic I did for Megaplex con and their 2016 theme "The British Invasion". I figured a lot of people would be doing bands and TV shows and stuff, so I tried to come up with something British from that era, but not necessarily obvious to the theme. I also really like doing this kind of ink work and they were looking specifically for B&W conbook art, so that was the perfect chance to practice more of that.

literally the day you left, I saw a silver E-Type convertible two lights from the airport. Anyway, this pic turned out great, and it was cool seeing you work on it!

The Jaguar E-Type is a legendary car. Very good choice! A lot of governments didn't like it because they thought it's curves were 'vulgar & obscene'. But like all things 60's British & Rock & Roll itself, they couldn't stop what had started. Sports cars & pop culture were never the same again. Wonderful work! :D
