> Not much is known in detail about her past since she is uncomfortable sharing personal information and hardly any data can be found about her before her capture and drafting in the Wulfen Special Forces. She used to belong to an unspecified tribe of the indigenous people from Yukon, a tribe that however rejected Denene and her relatives for their lycanthropic nature. They apparently had no problem living on their own in the local frigid wilderness, embracing their more feral nature and perhaps wishing to create their own tribe of lycanthropes. They were however aggressive against any human activities around their area, so much so that the Agency intervened following reports of “beast people” attacking hunters and miners, scaring them away at night and promptly stealing and damaging their equipment too. Once located, they were eventually captured and offered a choice between chemical castration and de-clawing, or drafting in the Wulfen Special Forces as mandated by the Agency’s internal policy. Denene chose the latter.
