Johnny's all tapped out of quarters but Jimmy is absolutely killin' it in 'Shark Fighterz'. What's a sharkboy to do but cheer on his friend. = )

It's been a bit since I last did something with these two. 2011 to be exact. It was a nice break from my usual work. My comics were on hold while I waited for my strip book to dry out & it was "Shark Week" at the time.

This went from a simple idea of two friends playing a 4P arcade game to Johnny cheering on his pal Jimmy from the sidelines. Complete with a custom pixel art game screen and marquee! 'Cause I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess? o.O

I dig how this turned out. Kinda' wish I drew these two more often but I'll try for (at least) once a year...
