One of a series of Monster Girls I've been doing since last year. This one's from January but it's one of my faves.

I had so many ideas for this harpy but they all changed whenever I put pencil to paper.

• I wanted her to be whimsically dancing with a broom. Instead, she has a bird singing on her wing.
  
• I wanted her to have more bird-like legs. Instead, she has cartoon-y bird feet.
  
• I wanted her arms to be more like feathered arms with big hands. Instead, I ended up giving her Disney-style wing arms with feathers for “fingers”.

Like I said at the time, it didn’t come out like I had originally planned but I it's those little changes that happened that I feel makes it work..
