I've been working on this off and on for a week or two, now. You know, I didn't have to put in multiple light sources. Which then leads one to the perfectly reasonable question as to why I did.
It seemed like a good idea at the time. At least until I realized it basically meant doing a full set of shading several times.

Thanks! After I'd done the lighting on the figure, I was starting to think it had been a terrible idea, because it wasn't looking very good to me. But once I put in the background stuff, it looked right. I'm glad I decided to go in and add that.

Absolutely, the combination of the light as it falls on both character and floor just brings it to life!
