I'm thankful for fire extinguishers, oven fans, and Chinese places that are open on Thanksgiving.

I drew this for Thanksgiving last year, thanks to my boyfriend putting the idea in my head. He'd actually suggested a three panel comic, and I agreed that it was a great idea, but I wasn't sure I wanted to sink that much work into it. The idea kinda sat on the backburner, no pun intended, until I suddenly realized I could do the whole story in a single image.

And then I drew it, and it was good. Of all the parts of this picture that I like, my favorite is the 'everything is going according to plan' expression. I think I'll see about coloring this for Thanksgiving this year.
