Birds and butterflies
Rivers and mountains she creates
But you'll never know
The next move she'll make
You can try
But it is useless to ask why
Cannot control her
She goes her own way
She rules until the end of time
She gives and she takes
She rules until the end of time
She goes her own way
-- Mother Earth, Within Temptation
Nylor, personification of the Creator, goddess(although frequently she is referred to as 'it' or 'they' like the Void)of Alkelien, creation, death, life, change, sameness, fate, choices, and the maker of the world. Her symbol is three upside-down arches with nine dots along the bottom edge.
I think it's ironic that I, an atheist, still think the idea of a polytheistic religion is neat and use it in my world. Religions are great for causing conflicts and gods are great for screwing up your day.
