So every two years it seems I do a comic which situates around me taking a friend of mine to my place when they visit Vancouver, which inevitably means taking them through Surrey Central, which to unVancouverites is basically Vancouver's resident skidrow of sorts. Interestingly, Hoot is visiting me tomorrow and it is due for a 3rd installment of Surrey Central adventures So here's the first two with their relative descriptions:
1st comic, 2008:
THEY CALL HIM BOSS.
uhh
ya, I didn't bother with quality when i markered it. This comic is a true story, bro. No, really, all this dialog is what we best remembered from real people we encountered while blitzdrachen and I waited for the bus at Surrey Central on our evening commute to my house for XMAS this past week, lol.
2nd comic, 2010
THE SQUEAQUEL TO: tHIS
was visiting not too long ago, last week i think
As I do with most visiters to my HUMBLE ABODE in Vancouver metro east, we have to wait for a bus at Surrey Central AKA you're going to get fucking shot-ville. For example, this is where i fucking witnessed a gang stabbing after halloween 2008:

The running joke is Surrey is outrageously ghetto for a Canadian city.
So yeah, what happened in the comic happened for REAL. Pretty much two indo guys having a hilarious conversation, shortly after the ballcap guy asked magnus and i for bus fare in punjabi. lol
disappointment.
