Verse 256: Not by passing arbitrary judgements does one become just; the wise are they who investigate both right and wrong impartially, unhurriedly, weighing the Truth, guided by Truth, guarding the Truth, in line with It.
Verse 268/270: Not by harming life or by keeping silent is one made a sage, but only, as if holding a balance-scales, accepting only the Good, does one cast out their own ignorance.
