Kangaroo Gargoyle Hybrid...WTF?

I write music! Usually it's somewhere between singer-songwriter pretty and crazy-pants offbeat. My recent project involves writing songs inspired by low-budget movies. Yup!

I podcast! My show 'Fuzzy Notes' is about the music made by furs. It started in November of 2012 and has featured well over a hundred artists and WAY well over 250 songs. It has been downloaded over 30,000 times by January 2014. I also do two other podcasts, but they aren't furry, so boooooo to them!

I run a furry con! Well, a bunch of us run it, but I pretend I'm important there! The con is Camp Feral and I've been chairman since 2004, which is just a nice way of saying "If it goes right, it's because of your awesome friends and staff...if it doesn't...it's your fault!"

With that con I make videos! They are ridiculous and can be found at http://youtube.com/CampFeral. In one of them I MAY get my head bashed in.

I help run a furry bookselling business! It's called Bookshelf Bear and sells furry books to Canadian furs! We also sell at conventions!

I have a pink mohawk, piercings, a tattoo of gargoyle wings on my back, I listen to lots of music, work in the Canadian music industry, have a theatre degree and a diploma in Recording Arts Management (fancy word for 'Music Industry Stuff'), LOVE b-movies, and am seeing if I want to be a yoga person or not.

LIMITATIONS:

• I can make songs in a variety of genres, but work generally in a 'lo-fi' style, so you can't expect a track to sound like Beyonce, or Imagine Dragons. Those songs cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to sound like that
• I can play acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, accordion, bass, piano and keys, and sing. Other than this, I rely on synthesized sounds...so songs in a singer-songwriter/folk genre will tend to come out better. Second best would be rock, country, and pop.

• The song, to do with as you choose...post it anywhere you like with citation that I recorded and co-wrote the song with you. I will submit it to you in .wav and .mp3. If you would like it in any other format, I'll do what I can to do so!
