In a world filled with catchable creatures and balls big enough to contain them, cheap knockoff balls will be made. One man, armed with only a wallet and a terrible craving for discounts, becomes the owner of one of them.

Follow Hash Ketchup, an entirely original character, as he embarks on an adventure of a lifetime. He'll meet new friends, find his greatest challenge and true love in the mirror, destroy his clothes, try to convince people he's probably not a pokemon and to stop throwing plastic balls at him, find new clothes, destroy those clothes minutes later, all while constantly on the run for the nearest pokemon discount center and sale.
