Tumblr Ask: Hobbies

Been sitting on this question for a while and only recently got to answering it. I apologize for the delay, anon! I was busy trying not to die working retail during the holiday season :(

Hackers is absolutely Hex’ favorite movie. She’s also fond of the second two Matrix movies. And if you love schlocky B-flicks, absolutely go watch Transmorphers. It sounds like a mockbuster for Transformers, but it really isn’t and it’s a legit good-bad movie. It’s by the Asylum, and they do some pretty amazing shitty films.

Dot and Hex are actually both pretty avid gamers, though their tastes are wildly different. Dot has played Super Smash Bros competitively before and walked away with a significant cash prize by placing third in a tourney. Hex, meanwhile, is a lot better than she lets on to be, and is almost good enough at COD to be in a For-Real-Money tournament herself. She’s just being humble.

I got tired of drawing Realistic Guns for Data Thingies, so I freestyled for this one. Looks pretty good, might use that design in the future.
