Shryllz Species Sheet by PolychromaticDragon

Shryllz Species Sheet

PolychromaticDragon

Wow what a cute and pretty new species sheet for my Shryllz! Originally these guys were closed but I realized that was really stupid, and as long as i get credit for creating the species, why should i be so strict about them?

So, to start off, i've developed a new aspect of how the Shryllz live in our world. It's unknown if they are naturally or genetically created, over time their history has been lost. But they can live alongside humans as pets, friends, and so on. Shryllz are believed to have human/anthro forms, and their human forms can be so convincing that it's actually unclear how many shryllz exist.

(Feral)Body/Tail:
• Shryllz have longish bodies and lanky legs. Some are shorty and chubbier, others are longer, thinner, and taller. But the above shryll is a typical body type.
• All Shryllz have tails that end in some kind of hook-like design. Some are more and less obvious than others. They can curve in or away from the body.
• They have short fuzzy fur, that can grow out to be slightly shaggy at the most.
Human Body:
• Can range from completely human to half-and-half (keeping ears, tail, hoof-like hands/feet, ect, but having a human face/body/skin color)
Anthro Body:
• Same as feral body but able to stand and walk upright.

Intelligence:
• Shryllz are intelligent but can be known to act more like feral creatures than sentient beings. Sometimes they can slip back and forth into one or the other. Even when a shryll is sentient, a shryll can be incredibly dim-witted.
• This can obviously become a problem when a shryll is in their human form, if they slip into a more feral mind set.

Colors:
• Shryllz can come in many colors, but are usually desaturated. Saturated/neon shryllz exist but are uncommon.
• They have different colored bellies from their base fur color, and can be several colors, but high amounts of different colors are uncommon. (This applies to the colors of their hooves and ear insides. Basically: the more amount of colors found on a Shryll, the less common they are.)
• Shryllz do not usually have spots/stripes throughout their body. it is in fact rare that they do.

Spines:
• All shryllz have spines (3-4 pairs) and can vibrate to create different sounds. Some do not have very distinct sounds are very faint. Others are very loud and could be described to be obnoxious. (A lot of their sounds could be compared to drum and bass/dubstep)
• Spines are either a solid color or striped. It's rare to find spines that are spotted/other kind of designs

Hair:
• They can have a tuft of hair on their head that come in varying styles. It's not uncommon to find bald Shryllz, though.
• Hair color usually matches with either base or secondary colors of the shryll.

Eyes:
• Pupils can either be slit or round.
• Sclera's are normally white or black, other colors, like red, green, blue, ect are rare.

Tongues:
• Are either long, ribbon/thick like or short and fat.
• can be solid, striped, or spotted for either type of tongue.

Diet:
• Shryllz are omnivorous, and preference depends on the shryll. They can eat human food as well. Some are good hunters, while others are more like scavengers.

Accessories:
• Because of Shryllz exposure to human culture, they are prone to decorating themselves with any number of things.
• Includes: piercings, bracelets, scarves, necklaces, ect.

I think that should be enough for now! If i'm forgetting anything i'll add onto it!

Feel free to ask questions! I plan on uploading a free to use line art for those interested in making one but dont possess the skill or desire to create their own line art atm 8'D

and please, if you do make one, all i ask is you give me credit and i'd love to see them!!

Currently created shryllz:
