Cody was another puppet I built for the same children's reading program that featured Humphrey. He was a bit of a grouchy old codger, but underneath all that gruff and grumpiness was a decent heart. He was created in the fall of 2003 while I was between jobs, so I was able to put in a good 6-8 hours per day on him. Wound up finishing him in about eight weeks.
Of all the puppets I've built so far, Cody is my favorite. He was a live-hands puppet and was so much fun to use. I wound up donating him to a church ministry in Michigan, and I hope he's had a very enjoyable and useful life since.
