The rat head as it looked on December 7. I used a sock-type pattern for the head base with a slight modification to elongate the snout. Short pile brown fur on the outside, t-shirt cotton/ploy blend for the inner lining. Red felt for the inside of the mouth. Eyes are styrofoam balls with Foamies sheets for the whites, teddy bear eyes for the pupils, and felt for the eyelids. Nose is also carved styrofoam covered in pink fleece. The glasses are the kind you find at doll and teddy bear making supply houses.
