Just one of the studies I do occasionally to not get too rusty on the classical stuff. This time it's a study from the original furry artist, Rosa Bonheur.
She was one of the greatest animals painters (she really specialized in it) and her horses and bulls are absolutely exquisite. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend checking out her painting, "The horse fair" to see what I'm talking about
