Back in 2014 I took a class on metal casting at my local Lapidary society. We used silver clay to form an abstract piece and then stamps to make a pattern. I then put a little faceted sapphire in the middle that I got from the teacher. After heating up the metal I painted the bottom with real gold (the liquid gold is expensive to get). I am still proud of this piece and I still wear it to this day.
