Outdated Zuriel Ref

"Okay, so I’m going to try (emphasis on try) to draw more or at least once a day and post it (even if I feel like the drawing is not that great).

Anyway, this is Zuriel and my attempted ref of them with the uncolored and colored version of them. I don’t really like how the colored one turned out but hopefully I’ll draw them again with better lighting and a more interesting pose than ref pose (as I called it). So Zuriel is an alien experiment that was created to sell to people who would use their species for things like war, underground fighting rings, bodyguards, pets, etc. Their were 7 versions made of them before hand but were all failures and Zuriel is the only one that was a success. Before the scientist who created them could make more he was caught and arrested. Zuriel would’ve been killed but one of the members of the force decided to raise them saying that just because they were made for evil doesn’t mean they’ll become that. Zuriel was an infant when that happened and only when they were 16 is when they found out that they were an alien and not a hybrid (which is what they were told most of their life). Now they are coping with this knowledge and fear of they don’t watch themselves that they’ll revert to their original purpose and kill.

I based Zuriel’s design on different creatures such as dragons, the Mongolian wolf, Dragon Moray Eel, Asian Water Monitor, and Red Muntjac.

Zuriel is non-binary (goes by they/them pronouns) and is going to university as a biology major. They tend to like wearing v-neck shirts, listening to metal, and going to aquariums. They are also pretty tall (I have not decided their canon height yet but I know they’ll be in either the 6 or 7 feet)."
The only things that are outdated is that certain physical traits (like they don't have the Asian Water Monitor traits anymore and their scars will be be different) and that other aspects of their design will look different. Everything else is the same.
