This was the second project I had to do in my jewelry design 2 class which was forging. We had the options of making a hair ornament, fibula (Roman brooch), or a pennanular (Celtic brooch). I originally wanted to do a pennanular but I realized I wouldn’t have enough time so I decided to make this simple hair ornament instead.
