because I couldn't resist making a cyberpunk character with a katana, and a quick little piece to show her off.

For this, it was basically like drawing armor. I drew the panels, while keeping in mind how they'd need to move and separate to provide the most mobility (also with a bunch of superfluous gaps and lines that pretty much just exist to make it look cooler).
Inspiration and reference comes from a lot of places, like robot/armor designs in fiction, particularly stuff like the more complex Gundam models.

I am with BcB, I am simply fascinated with how your draw your robotic and cybernetics. If and when you open for commissions, I have a Rat I would love for you to tinker with.
