Anyways, this is my centuries old witch Esmeralda (and her street-urchin adopted-ish child Marion in her smaller cat form)
Esme was born in the early 1400s in France and was given her powers by a powerful warlock who had become smitten with her, thus turning her immortal, against her wishes.
Although she is kind and motherly, she has been forced to kill her lovers in the past when they discovered that she was a witch and threatened to have her burned at the stake, so she is often cold and reserved around others out of fear that they'll discover her secret. Over this past century however, she has lightened up a bit, as there is no longer witch hunts, and has befriended many people (many who she later finds out aren't human hehehe)
