Funny how just changing the colors can fix a picture. I've been keeping the original color file of this one in my Scraps folder since it just felt... off somehow. Realized I'd just picked the wrong, oversaturated colors. Found a proper non-shaded reference, updated the colors and added some gullet shading, aaaand now I'm happy with the picture again.
