I really needed to do personal art today. Art for arts sake. Because I wanted to, not because I have to. So despite the problems with colour and anatomy, I really like this piece because it was very relaxing to do.

I suppose it differs from dragon to dragon. Some might like it and some might not. Individuality and all that ~
But I suppose it would feel good on scales.... like it'd be hitting you without actually getting your skin? But then some dragons have armoured scales so thick they wouldn't feel much at all :P

I never really thought scales might numb the sense of touch, but I guess that's possible.

I would say it's highly probable for those with heavy armour scales. I mean armour is supposed to protect you, it wouldn't be very useful if you could feel/be sensitive to swords and teeth trying to bite their way through your scales to the more sensitive flesh.
